Empowering Girls for Sustainable Development in Nasarawa State
This project aims to empower and activate girls in Nasarawa State, Nigeria, to become leaders in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030, with a focus on climate action, conservation, and food security.
Create income-generating opportunities, Prevent early and forced marriages, commercial sex activities, and child labor. Foster cohesive and equitable societies. Project Target Group: 250 vulnerable girls aged 9 to 18 in Nasarawa State will directly benefit from the program.
Specific Objectives:
Raise awareness and equip girls with skills to become environmental changemakers. Implement practical solutions for poverty alleviation, climate resilience, waste management, and ecosystem restoration. Foster female leadership and community development. Empower communities to live sustainably in harmony with nature.Anticipated Benefits:
Enhance the leadership and technical skills of 1000 girls in Nasarawa State. Improve access to education and mentorship opportunities.Contribute to the achievement of multiple SDGs, including 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, and 15.
