Objective:

This project aims to empower and activate girls in Nasarawa State, Nigeria, to become leaders in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030, with a focus on climate action, conservation, and food security.

Specific Objectives:

• Raise awareness and equip girls with skills to become environmental changemakers.
• Implement practical solutions for poverty alleviation, climate resilience, waste management, and ecosystem restoration.
• Foster female leadership and community development.
• Empower communities to live sustainably in harmony with nature.

Anticipated Benefits:

• Enhance the leadership and technical skills of 1000 girls in Nasarawa State.
• Improve access to education and mentorship opportunities.
• Contribute to the achievement of multiple SDGs, including 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, and 15.

Impact Areas:

• Improve well-being and educational opportunities for vulnerable girls.
• Provide care and support services to vulnerable girls.
• Create income-generating opportunities.
• Prevent early and forced marriages, commercial sex activities, and child labor.
• Foster cohesive and equitable societies.

Project Target Group:

• 250 vulnerable girls aged 9 to 18 in Nasarawa State will directly benefit from the program.
